My First Blog Post

Be yourself; Everyone else is already taken.

— Oscar Wilde.

This is the first post on my new blog. I’m just getting this new blog going, so stay tuned for more in the near future.

I started this blog thinking about where I was going in life, what I wanted to pursue, and what I was passionate about. My work experience has been working with children from ages 2-6 years old in either an elementary school or preschool setting. I thought pursuing an office career would help me gain more challenging experiences to learn more about a growing company. Do I want to do this for the rest of my life? Probably not.

Something I have always been so passionate about is trying the variety of options that California has to offer in the food industry. California is such a diverse population with growing neighborhoods and many local restaurants. That was it. Why not do something I love to do, which is trying all kinds of food that this world has to offer, while sharing my experiences through this blog.

Aladdin cafe

I’ve been to this place a couple times and the food and portions never disappoint. Recommend sharing an order so you can try a variety of their foods.

Hummus with Chicken Shewarma
Hot Moroccan mint tea

This restaurant is located off Clairemont Mesa Blvd. in San Diego, CA. These two were the appetizers that we got until our entrees came out. As per usual, I got too excited to take a picture of it and already started eating right when it came out. I need to get better at waiting to take a picture first. HIGHLY suggest getting these items.

On a side note, you MUST try their garlic yogurt sauce!

Trying to find my niche…

The reason I decided to blog publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal is to be able to share my food experiences. I came to a conclusion that I would not have a specific topic of strictly restaurants but also recipes because I also love cooking! I’m here to help give recommendations and reviews for anyone who wants them 🙂

I would love to connect with other bloggers who have a passion for exploring new foods from different cultures, backgrounds, and dietary needs.
